That being said, they do each maintain their name and the corresponding Power they grant. Each Temple, aside from Temple Eta and the Buried Temple, will also have a Starborn Guardian of the corresponding Temple name attack you after you acquire the Power within.Īside from the first Temple, all other Temples in Starfield are randomly distributed to different Locations upon each playthrough. Once the light puzzle is solved, the rings will stop to form a singular ring, creating a portal of sorts, and players can then move to its center to claim the Power corresponding to the Temple. Inside, large moving rings will react to the player and initiate a puzzle. Finally, all Temples will have an entrance that will be revealed by thin moving pillars lowering down. Thus when players visit these Temples, they'll notice they'll look like ruins with debris and other chunks of the structure floating or suspended in mid-air. Temples are marked by distinct anti-gravitational pockets that only encompass their actual structure and a small distance around them. While each Temple grants a specific corresponding Power, Temples visually look the same. Each Temple has a corresponding Artifact that shares the same grav anomaly signature. The Starborn are essentially people who have collected multiple Powers from Temples and Artifacts in different universes both before and after having gone through the Unity. You'll discover later on that these Temples grant anyone able to find them and successfully enter them otherworldly powers. Temples in the game are structural anomalies with the same, but bigger, grav anomaly signatures as the special Artifacts that the player and Constellation as a whole have taken upon themselves to explore, study, and collect.
